Centric compositions

Centric Compositions provides an introduction to Anne Rolfsen's artistic career, based on her series of drawings of the same name. Rolfsen's work is deeply rooted in a methodical exploration of drawing as both aesthetic form and an experience-based practice. Form, color and perspective are used in distinctive ways that opens up a unique spatiality and visual poetics. The works draw inspiration from folk art and holistic-spiritual traditions, while also being part of a modernist, abstract drawing practice. The book is available in both Norwegian and English.
