Towards the forest

"Towards the Forest" is designed as a journey from bright and harmonious motifs, through the forest and the chaos of creation, back to a controllable reality. Together with Munch Museum curator Kari J. Brandtzæg, Knausgård has systematically scrutinised the Munch Museum's collection in search of works that might allow us to see and experience Edvard Munch's oeuvre in a new light.
