Imagined childhoods

This collection of essays opens up a new research field by connecting autobiography and childhood. The book aims at revealing how childhood narratives constitute important resources for the creation of personal and group identities. Another aim of the book is to create a theoretical framework that connects recent trends in textual analysis with the social worlds in which autobiographical texts are produced and read.
