Sammendrag

This book is a way for colleagues to pay tribute to professor Anna Mette Fuglseth at her 60th birthday. Anna Mette has played an important and significant role at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH). She has made significant contributions to the introduction, application and integration of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) in the study programmes at NHH. Over the years she has introduced, modified and offered a number of courses, in which ICT plays a key role in business conduct, ranging from introductory courses in data processing to courses at the graduate level. Her teaching efforts have also resulted in two recognized textbooks, both adopted and used by several Norwegian universities and colleges. Anna Mette's research relates to the development of information systems, assessment of the impact of ICT on strategic business decisions, coordination of organizational activities and organizational learning, as well as assessment of effects of information systems implementation. Her research has been published in leading international journals within her field, as well as in international conference proceedings. Her academic work and expertise have also been communicated to users in business and public organisations. This Festschrift contains eleven contributions by colleagues from NHH and abroad, covering a variety of topics related to Anna Mette's academic and professional interests. The book has been edited by her long-time colleague and friend, professor Kjell Grønhaug.
