Diving guide

This is not intended to be a scientific text- book, but a presentation of underwater experiences near Kristiansund. The best dive sites are selected from thousands of dives in this area. Underwater walls and shallow sand flats are teeming with wildlife. Fertile kelp forests surround over 5000 coastal rocks and islands along the Atlantic Coast. Like tropical rainforests, the kelp plays an important role in the marine ecosystem. I have been diving since 1965 and my enthusiasm is still going strong. My frequent visits to the "wet element" are always rewarding and I always look forward to the next dive. I hope to encourage divers' interest for their own underwater exploration.
