Mighty minorities?

Early Christianity was a minority movement itself within the Jewish and the Greco-Roman worlds. There were, however, also minorities within Early Christianity, based on ethic background, gender or class, or on differences in ideology and religious beliefs. In a programmatic way, the studies in this volume focus on these divergent minorities, how they conceived of themselves, and how they influenced the larger communities.
