«Opposing a dictator is fraught with risk and requires great courage,» says Per Egil Hegge in his presentation of Thorolf Rafto. The book describes, in text and pictures, the Rafto Foundation and the prize-winners, and shows the courage they have shown in their fight for human rights.

The income from the sale of the book will go to the Rafto Foundation.

Per Egil Hegge is a journalist. He has worked as an editor in the newspaper Aftenposten and for A-magasinet, and has been press correspondent in Washington DC, London and Moscow.
